FAI Camp
This years FAI Camp is scheduled for Paddy’s Hill 10th–14th August. Places are going quick, enrol at the following link: www.fai.ie or call 1890 653 653 before it’s too late.
The club nor the FAI will NOT be excepting entries on the day.

FREE TICKETS
Pre–Match Guard of Honour:
Under 7 (10 kids) and Under 8 (10 kids) teams = 20 Kids in total.
Half–Time Games:
Under 9 (10 kids) vs Under 9 (10 kids) and Under 10 (10 kids) vs Under 10 (10 kids) = 40 kids in total.
Ballboys:
Under 11 (12 kids) = 12 kids in total.
Coaches/Mentors:
3 per team = 21 in total.
Total Free Tickets: 93
Extra Free tickets can be provided to any teams wishing to come as spectators. It may however, be in the club’s interest to sell tickets to all spectators on 50/50 basis, so as to maximise their profit from the event.
50/50 TICKETS
100 of each ticket type (family, adult, concession) will be provided to the club to sell. All profits from the tickets that are sold will be split 50/50 between Portmarnock AFC and Sporting Fingal. All unsold tickets and monies received must be presented to Sporting Fingal before kick–off on Sunday.
KIDS TAKING PART IN THE GAME
All kids taking part in the game (ballboys/half–time game/mascots) are the responsibility of their coaches/mentors.
All kids (including those taking part in the half–time games) must wear runners/shoes. Those taking part in the half–time game should bring football boots to change into before the game.
All ballboys must be wearing bibs so as to distinguish them from all other supporters at the game.
For the purpose of the half–time game, it is recommended that kids wear jerseys/shorts of their team. If jerseys of two teams clash, bibs are recommended. Sporting Fingal will provide goalposts, marker cones and footballs for the half–time games. Portmarnock AFC must provide bibs.
All those taking part in the game will be asked to arrive before 2.00pm. All other spectators are advised to arrive 10 minutes before kick–off to guarantee seat.
Parking may possibly be provided if necessary, though club will need to know in advance how many spots are needed.

PAFC Golf Classic 2009
The Portmarnock Soccer Club Golf Classic 2009 will take place on Friday 21st August from 13:30 in the splendid setting of The Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Club.
A shotgun start is planned so that all teams will finish at the same time so as to enjoy the meal and prize–giving together. To accommodate this format, entry is restricted to 23 teams. Cost per team of four is €500 (covering green fee, dinner and prizes).
A number of teams have been entered already so do not delay in getting your team in. You may instead wish to sponsor a hole at a cost of €100. Please contact any of the committee to enter a team or obtain further details.

New manager appointed for Premier A
Portmarnock AFC have appointed a new manager for their Premier A side. Mick Earley will take charge of the senior team effective immediately.
On behalf of all at PAFC I would like to wish Mick well and hope he has a successful first season at the club.
